Hanil Cement has obtained a patent for a new technology that incorporates AI into apartment floor construction. The patented technology is named “AI-Based Mobile Silo System.”

A mobile silo is a key piece of equipment used for pouring floor mortar during the finishing stage of apartment construction. It automatically mixes dry mortar and water within the equipment and pumps the mixture directly to upper floors, allowing large floor areas to be finished easily and quickly.

The key feature of this patent is the installation of an “AI control system” in the mobile silo. When pouring floor mortar, AI automatically controls the amount of water mixed and the pumping pressure within the mobile silo, which were previously adjusted manually by workers. By considering environmental variables such as seasonal temperature and humidity, AI adjusts the amount of water in real time to maintain a consistent mortar viscosity. It also automatically calculates the appropriate pumping pressure based on the height of the floor where the mortar will be poured, supporting stable application.

Based on this patented technology, Hanil Cement plans to pursue commercialization in the future and further expand its technological advantage in the floor ready-mixed mortar (dry mortar) market.
