Hanil Cement Wins Gold and Bronze at the 51st National Quality Innovation Competition.

At the 51st National Quality Innovation Competition, held from August 25 to 29 at the Jeju International Convention Center, two quality control teams from Hanil Cement’s Danyang Plant won Gold and Bronze awards.

Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the competition brought together 316 quality control teams that advanced through regional preliminaries from 17 cities and provinces across Korea.

In the Carbon Neutrality category, the “Flame” team from the Danyang Plant’s Production Department received the Gold Award for its project titled “Reduction of Carbon Emissions through Equipment Improvement in the Alternative Fuel Input Process.”

In the Safety and Quality category, the “Change” team from the Mechanical Department earned the Bronze Award for its project “Risk Reduction in Cement Kiln Waste Oil Feeding Process through Hazard Factor Improvement.”

These achievements highlight Hanil Cement’s continued commitment to innovation, safety, and environmental responsibility across its production operations.
