Danyang plant’s Electricity Team “Driver,” Machine Team’s “Change,” and Office Coalition’s “Wise Answer” finished first at the “2024 Chungcheongbuk-do Quality Circle Contest.” In the contest held at the Chungbuk Business Agency from June 4 and 5, the Driver circle, which participated in the “Coexistence & Cooperation” sector, gave a presentation on the theme “Reducing stop time by improving the cement crushing process.” The Change circle, which participated in the carbon neutrality sector, gave a presentation on “Reducing carbon emissions by improving the alternative fuel input process & transportation equipment.” The Office Coalition Wise Answer circle participated in the smart factory sector with “Reducing stop time by establishing a smart system for the fit sealing process.” These circles have qualified for the National Quality Circle Contest to be held in Suwon in August. Sponsored by Chungcheongbuk-do and hosted by the Korean Standards Association, the “Chungcheongbuk-do Quality Circle Contest” is a venue for sharing and presenting excellent cases of quality improvement by each business to promote quality management and reinforce competitiveness.
