Pyeongtaek Plant achieves three accident-free periods of 1,248 days

On June 17, the Pyeongtaek Palnt of Hanil Cement achieved 1,248 accident-free days, which is three times longer than the baseline. This achievement was accomplished over the period of 3 years and 4 months starting January 16, 2016. It was an outcome achieved by all of the employees at the Pyeongtaek Plant who vigilantly practiced health and safety measures with a strong belief in the principle of Safety First.
The Pyeongtaek Plant has promoted various campaigns to prevent accidents and to improve workplace environments, hosting a “Safety Environment Day” once a month. It has also frequently enforced safety and health training to increase employee awareness. The employees and executives of the Pyeongtaek Plant will continue to work toward achieving the fourth accident-free period by actively following the proposals and measures prioritizing the safety of workers.
