To prevent serious accidents at worksites and strengthen on-site safety management, the Danyang and Yeongwol Plants held the “Partnership Seminar for Strengthening SF100 Golden Rules” on June 25.

The seminar was characterized by a significant expansion of its participants beyond the existing safety forums, which had primarily focused on management. Executives, including plant managers and deputy plant managers, team leaders from various operational departments, the labor union chairman, and representatives from partner companies gathered together to build a shared understanding of the importance of spreading a strong safety culture.

The seminar consisted of a lecture by a specialized safety culture consulting organization and an in-depth discussion. Following the lecture on methods for identifying factors that could lead to serious accidents and effective control measures, all participants took part in a safety discussion. They selected examples of high-risk work from actual worksites and discussed effective safety measures, seeking practical ideas for preventing serious accidents closely aligned with on-site operations.
