On June 18, around 20 employees from Hanil Cement’s Danyang Plant and Maepo Town Office visited local farms in the Maepo area to assist with garlic harvesting. Employees from the Samgok Plant also joined the effort, lending a hand to farms in Samgok 1-ri and working alongside local farmers in the fields.

This volunteer activity was part of a collaborative initiative to address the labor shortage in rural areas and support the revitalization of local agriculture.

Participants expressed their commitment by saying, “We will continue to grow as a company that shares in the challenges of our farmers and thrives together with the local community.”
