On May 27, Hanil Cement’s Danyang Plant, in collaboration with the Maepo Youth Association, hosted the “Maehwagol Spring Children’s Drawing Contest,” inviting over 80 students from Maepo, Gapyeong, and Daega Elementary Schools.

The grand prize was awarded to Yang Song-hyun, a 6th-grade student from Maepo Elementary School. In total, 15 students received awards, including two excellence awards, five merit awards, and seven honorable mentions.

The Danyang Plant actively engages in various social contribution initiatives, including scholarship programs to nurture local talent.

Plant Manager Jeon Jae-cheol stated, “By holding this annual drawing contest for children, we aim to support cultural and artistic activities for the next generation. We will continue to do our best to discover and promote community-centered social contribution projects in various fields.”
