The Hanil Cement labor union delegated wage negotiations this year to the company on Apr. 29. Both workers and companies came together for mutual growth and company growth during the downturn in the construction economy. With the participation of both leaders including president Jeon Gun-sik and labor union chairman Sin Gwang-seon, they signed an agreement to delegate all matters related to wage negotiations during the first meeting this year.
“We were able to achieve our highest performance ever through individual hard work and consideration between the company and workers despite the difficult management environment. We are planning to prepare for difficult times together due to the rapid downturn in the construction economy and unstable prices of various materials by delegating wage negotiations to the company,” Chairman Sin Gwang-seon said. According to President Jeon Geun-sik, Hanil Cement was able to reach its current state powered by a corporate culture of trust and coexistence. “I wish to thank our members who chose to accompany us for coexistence, and let’s become a true top-tier company in the cement industry by overcoming the crisis together,” he added. Hanil Cement continues its history of 59 years of no disputes since 1965 based on a corporate culture of coexistence and harmony.
