Hanil Cement’s Danyang plant held environmental cleanup activities along downtown Maepo-eup to celebrate the 59th anniversary of the labor union on Jun. 12. More than 100 union members participated in the activity that day to clean up waste piled up along the roads. Danyang plant vowed to continue to lead cleanup activities to protect the local environment. “We will strengthen the company’s environmental responsibility and communication with the community,” the plant added.
