Danyang Plant hosted the “Maehwagol spring children's drawing contest” together with the Maepo-eup Youth Association by inviting about 60 elementary school students on May 27.

At the contest, Hwang Hyeon-seong, a 5th grader from Maepo Elementary, won the grand prize; a total of 15 students won awards including 2 best awards, 5 excellence awards, and 7 encouragement awards.

The event, which celebrates its 11th anniversary this year, was held to encourage and fuel children's hopes and dreams. “We will be strong sponsors of local children through this annual event. We will also strive to discover and promote various social contribution projects together with the community,” said Shim Yong-seok, head of the plant.
