Danyang Plant delivered 30 Happy Box sets worth KRW 3 million to the Maepo-eup Community Security Council on February 5. Happy Boxes consisting of health foods and groceries each were prepared by collecting less than KRW 1,000 every month from the paycheck of each and every Danyang Plant employee for the disadvantaged people in the community.

Celebrating their 23rd anniversary this year, such funding activities first began in 2002. Thanks to the voluntary participation of the employees, about KRW 39 million in donations have been collected and delivered, practicing love for neighbors. “We will continue to help the needy in the region, expand our scholarship program, and actively carry out ESG management to seek win-win ways with local residents,” said Shim Yong-seok, head of the plant.
