Hanil Cement donated 100,000,000 won to the Korean Red Cross on February 24 to support recovery from earthquake damages in Türkiye and Syria. The donations will be used not only to purchase relief goods such as groceries and blankets for earthquake victims but also for medical services, shelter establishment, and children's education.

“We express our deepest condolences for the victims who have suffered great damages from an unexpected earthquake. We hope that our donations help them get back to their daily lives,” Hanil Cement said.

In 2011, Hanil Cement donated 30,000,000 won to the Korean Red Cross for relief of the Japan earthquake victims and also donated 200,000,000 won to the Korea Disaster Relief Association, Danyang-gun Scholarship Committee, etc. for the prevention of spread of COVID-19 and support of those vulnerable to disasters. In 2019 when a huge mountain fire swept through Gangwon-do, Hanil Cement delivered 100,000,000 to the Korea Disaster Relief Association together with Hanil Hyundai Cement, continuing to provide aid in disaster-struck regions both in Korea and overseas.
