The “Driver” team of Danyang Plant won the gold prize at the 48th National Quality Circle Contest hosted by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy on August 29 through September 2.

A total of 266 excellent teams selected from regional preliminaries held in 17 cities and provinces participated in this contest. The Driver team, which competed in the win-win partnership category, won the gold prize for the "reduction of down time through the improvement of Wheel Feeder Nos. 5 and 6."

The National Quality Circle Contest is held every year to provide a foundation for quality innovation as workers share their cases of improvement in the field. The award ceremony will be held at the "48th National Quality Circle Contest" in November.
