In 2022, Hanil Cement was selected as the first in the cement sector in the 2022 'Korea's Most Admired Company' announced by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). It has been selected as the No. 1 company for 19 consecutive years since 2004, when the industrial sector survey was started. Through this award, it once again strengthened its status as a leading company in the domestic cement industry.

It is evaluated because it has presented a new construction paradigm through innovative technology development and quality improvement efforts, such as the First bulk cement shipment in 1970, first dry mortar in Korea in 1991 and the acquisition of the international standard quality management system (ISO 9001) for all business sites in the industry in 2004. Thanks to such efforts, it was the first in the cement industry to be selected as a 'green company' designated by the Ministry of Environment every three years and was selected 4 times in a row from 2011 to 2020, which is unusual in the manufacturing industry. In 2015, Portland cement produced at the Danyang plant was also certified as the best grade for eco-friendly building materials. In addition, Hanil Cement has succeeded in production of 'Low Carbon Green Cement', which can reduce carbon dioxide, the main culprit of greenhouse gas, by reducing the amount of limestone used in the cement production process and lowering the calcination temperature compared to the existing Portland cement.

Hanil Cement is actively participating in the national eco-friendly policy through increased use of recycled resources and full-scale ESG management, and is setting a 100-year corporate vision. Through the development of safe and eco-friendly products, Hanil plan to grow into a company that fulfills its social responsibilities as an environmental protection company and solves social problems such as environmental preservation.
