Hanil Cement donated basic firefighting facilities to the Danyang Fire Station for fire-vulnerable homes. On April 26, Danyang Fire Station delivered 150 sets of basic residential firefighting facilities to residents of Andong-ri and Dogok-ri, Maepo-eup, and installed fire extinguishers and individual alarm-type detectors.

Hanil Cement signed a business agreement with the Danyang Fire Station in 2017 and has donated 750 sets of fire extinguishers and detectors since. They are carrying out constant sharing activities to reduce the damage caused by house fires. Hanil Cement said, "As part of our social contribution activities, we have joined the basic firefighting facility distribution project for vulnerable classes carried out by the Fire Station." They added, “We plan to carry out various activities as a company that works together with the local community in the future.”
