Hanil Cement placed in the first place for Portland cement and dry mortar at the 2017 KS-QEI Awards hosted by the Korean Standards Association on September 14.

Hanil Cement won the first place for the eighth consecutive year in the field of Portland cement. The company acquired the first ISO9001 certification in the industry in 2004, setting the environment and quality as the most important management objectives. The company is leading the development of Korean cement industry through a company-wide quality management system.

Remitar, a product that transformed the paradigm of Korean construction, won the honor of being place first in the awards for the ninth consecutive year. Hanil Cement is the only company in the industry with a nationwide production hub and sales network in the Greater Seoul Area (Incheon and Bucheon), Gangwon (Yeoju), Chungcheong (Gongju), Yeongnam (Gaya and Haman), and Honam/Jeju (Mokpo). Hanil Cement is leading the growth of the Remitar market, launching FS300, a high-functional floor material that drastically reduces cracks and irregularities in addition to rapid reduction of water content.
