Hanil Cement Danyang Plant hosted Maehwagol Children's Spring Painting Competition with Maepo-eup Youth Association on May 15. The painting competition was planned to deliver hopes and dreams to local children while strengthening the company’s friendship with the local community. The event hosted at Wudeokwon Garden in the Danyang Plant was attended by one hundred children. The pictures painted during the competition were judged, and the winning children were awarded a certificate and cultural gift certificates. Other participating children also received various souvenirs. Hanil Cement Danyang Plant hosts the painting competition every year for children, as a part of its community outreach program.
