On 9th of December, Danyang plant of Hanil Cement delivered scholarships to students at Maepo Elementary and middle school in Maepo-eup, Danyang county.
On this day, Hanil Cement delivered 7 million won worth of scholarships and certificates to a total of 24 people including 17 students of Maepo elementary school and 7 students of Maepo middle school.

Since 1995, Hanil Cement has annually provided scholarships to exemplary students who will be the mainstays of the local community in the future in order to coexist and grow with the local community, and a total 430 students have been granted about 76 million won worth of scholarships by the year 2016.

"We plan to play a role as a local company where residents and company coexist together through various projects for giving back to the local community such as scholarship projects, helping neighbors, and donating a development fund" said the Danyang Plant manager, Choi Deok-geun.
