Danyang plant of Hanil Cement achieved 1,800 days that is the longest accident-free record on 3rd of November, which is 6 multiples of the accident-free target. This 6 multiples of the accident-free target is the record that was achieved for about five years from the 30th of November 2011, which is a result of the labor and management engaging in continuous safety and health activities with one mind for achieving accident-free target under the belief that "safety is the top priority".

For realizing an accident-free workplace, Danyang plant has operated the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (KOSHA18001) and continuously implemented the occupational safety and health committee by labor and management.

In addition to this, Danyang Plant has made efforts on raising safety awareness through three major safety management policies (near misses, danger prediction training, risk factor reporting system), and safety campaign activities and industrial accident prevention resolution conference. Through achieving 6 multiples of the accident-free target, the employees of Danyang Plant has pledged to do their best to become the best company in the country in safety and health activities.
