In the 42nd National Quality Circle Competition that was held in Pyeongchang, Gangwon province from 29th of August to 2nd of September, 'Creation' circle and 'Sobaek Mountain' circle of Danyang plant won silver prize. 'Creation' circle that participated in site improvement category won silver prize with the theme, 'reduction in number of failures due to improvement of sub-fuel transfer process in cement plasticity', and 'Sobaek Mountain' circle won silver prize with topic, 'reduction in number of halts due to improvement of crushing process equipment'. About 300 excellent circles selected in the nation participated in this contest, and Hanil Cement recorded excellent results every year and its effort for quality improvement is being recognized.
