Hanil Cement was ranked No.1 for 13 consecutive years in 'the Most Respected Company in Korea' in 2016 for the cement industry announced by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). Especially, Hanil Cement was ranked No.1 in all 6 categories such as innovation ability, shareholder value, employee value, and corporative image from the survey on the cement industry category this year, thus solidifying its position as a company leading the domestic cement industry. This is evaluated as being due to Hanil Cement setting ‘Safety and Environment’ as its top priority management goal and exerting its efforts to achieve environmental management through eco-friendly product manufacturing, resource recycling, and efficient use of energy.

Meanwhile, since 2004, the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) has been selecting and announcing an award for being a model of good corporate management that properly recognizes the socio-economic role of the company and may be trusted and respected.

This survey conducted a survey on 7,120 industry executives, 230 analysts at securities firms, and 4,560 general consumers regarding six categories including innovation ability, shareholder value, employee value, customer value, social value, and image value.
