Hanil Cement will make early payments totaling KRW 42 billion to its partner companies ahead of Chuseok. The move is intended to help partner companies secure liquidity as their funding needs increase before the holiday.
The payments will be made to approximately 500 partner companies and are scheduled for September 21, up to two weeks earlier than the original payment dates. Hanil Cement has been making early payments to partner companies ahead of major holidays since 2024 and paid approximately KRW 40 billion ahead of Lunar New Year this year.
Meanwhile, Hanil Cement operates a KRW 11 billion mutual growth cooperation fund to support low-interest loans for partner companies. It also operates an “Oil Price Indexation System,” which adjusts contract payments in response to fluctuations in oil prices. In addition, the company supports the long-term employment of partner company employees through the “Mutual Growth Tomorrow Filling Deduction,” under which the primary contractor and partner company employees jointly contribute to a fund for five years, with compound interest added upon maturity.
