Danyang plant’s Electric Team "Driver" won first place and Machine Team "Saebaram" finished second at the "2022 Chungcheongbuk-do Quality Circle Contest" sponsored by Chungcheongbuk-do and hosted by the Korean Standards Association on June 8 and 9.

The Driver circle that participated in the coexistence cooperation sector gave a presentation on the theme of "reduction of stop time by improving wheel feeder units 5 and 6." The Saebaram circle that participated in the field improvement sector gave a presentation on the theme of "reducing stop time by improving the unit 5 plasticity process." Staff Eom Jeong-geun of the Driver circle was given the governor’s medal for quality contributions in recognition of his contributions to improving corporate quality and productivity.

Joined by 24 circles from 15 companies, this contest is a competitive event that judges the results of the passion and efforts of circle staff members who worked hard over the past year. Having won first place, the Driver circle has qualified for the "48th National Quality Circle Contest" to be held in Gyeongju in August.
