On June 16 and 17, at the ‘2021 Chungcheongbuk-do Quality Contest’ hosted by Chungcheongbuk-do and supervised by the Korean Standards Association, Danyang Plant’s Machinery Team ‘21st Century’ and Electrical Team ‘Woori’ won the grand prize. ‘21st Century’, which participated in the safety and quality category, presented the theme of ‘reducing potential risk by improving risk factors in the cement wagon shipping process’. ‘Woori’, which participated in the freestyle category, made a presentation under the theme of ‘reducing unmanned crane downtime by improving the cement forming process at the KBR facility’.

This contest, in which 31 teams from 21 companies participated, was a competitive arena where the passion and hard work of the team members over the past year were evaluated. The ‘21st Century’ and 'Woori' teams, which won the grand prize, will be eligible to participate in the ‘47th National Quality Contest’ to be held in Ulsan in August.
